Teeth Whitening Services at Vivid Dental, Houston TX
When you show a bright, vivid smile to those with whom you interact, you give the impression of vitality and health. The smile is an important asset to first impressions in both professional and social settings. Within the first minute of meeting others, they are forming their first impression. This is largely based on the triangular pattern that spans from the eyes to the mouth. A smile that is dull and discolored has the potential to make a poor first impression. Fortunately, there are quick and simple teeth whitening ways at Vivid Dental, Houston TX to brighten a dull smile.
There are several teeth whitening options available today, ranging from over-the-counter toothpastes and strips to various professional procedures. Due to their immediate convenience and lower price, commercial strips can be very appealing to the person desiring a better smile. In the end, however, most discover that store-bought products produce very limited results, at best, and unexpected results, at worst. Commercial strips, in particular, are not designed for optimal whitening. The straight-edged design may seem simple, but it does not match the contours of teeth. As such, these products sometimes create a line on the tooth, or irritate gum tissue when placed too high.
Whitening is a treatment designed by dentists, and best performed by professionals. Vivid Dental offers a multi-faceted treatment with the KöR Deep Bleaching system. Our patients may begin treatment with an in-office session that gives an immediate boost of oxygen to the teeth, lifting tough stains. At-home whitening continues for another week or two following this initial treatment. With this powerful approach, teeth are dramatically transformed and the smile stays brighter, longer.
The KöR Deep Bleaching system is ideal for its predictability. Ideal even for the correction of resistant stains, such as tetracycline staining. This whitening process has been designed to minimize the amount of sensitivity experienced throughout treatment.
Your smile is an important part of your appearance. Teeth whitening with the KöR Deep Bleaching system can restore tooth enamel to a more youthful, vibrant state. What is the process of teeth whitening? – Dr. Monti Harpalani
What is the product used for teeth whitening?
The main product we usually use for teeth whitening is called ‘KöR’ whitening.
What is the process of whitening teeth?
It is a two-step process. Usually, in the first visit, we will take impressions, get some usual bleaching trays made, and we’ll try them on.
They’ll go home and do the bleach with take-home whitening for about two weeks at night. Once they are finished with that step, they should come back to the office.
Then we will evaluate it to see how many shades have gotten whiter with the take home, and then we will use a higher concentrated bleach in the office as the second step.
What to expect at the end of the procedure?
Most patients sometimes can get five shades whiter or ten shades whiter. So each patient’s a little bit different. We will be discussing with the patients about their goals towards teeth whitening, and we see if we can achieve those goals.
At a young age our teeth are healthy white. But overtime the enamel coating the tooth is so slowly worn down. Causing our teeth to become stained and yellow, which is why teeth whitening is become increasingly popular today. There are a few methods for whitening. They include at home and in office. With in office treatments, you will see faster results, receive the safest treatment for bleaching the teeth, and yield the whitest smile. So, don’t settle for teeth that have become stained from years of coffee drinking, tobacco use, or just aging. Ask your dentist about whitening options that may be right you.
